Kayla + Brian • Cypress Top Historic Park Engagement Session
I am so excited to FINALLY share with you a look at my best friend Kayla's engagement session last fall. These two were so fun to get in front of my camera, their chemistry is off the charts. Brian brings out Kayla's smile and laugh effortlessly. They're naturally at ease with each other. I think I've said it a thousand times to them, but they are best friends. It's beautiful.
Kayla loves black and white photos. Which worked out perfectly with her session because I think black and white looks best on real emotion. And there was plenty of that in their session.
I adore her shawl. I'll never forget when he gave it to her, she was so excited. I think she knew it wouldn't be too much longer before he gave her a ring.
Now you might think that Kayla's nails look so fantastic because she got them done for her engagement session (beautiful as always Gossip & Co.!). And you would be right, but I have to say her nails always look perfect. Seriously girl, you need to share all the cute designs you get done on social media!
Alright, I'm going to need them to use this truck again. Maybe at a less busy location so that people aren't swarming us (probably in the hopes that it was available for public use). It's just too cool!
Kayla and Brian are already married now, and I had the good fortune of being part of their wedding. I am happy to report that it was a blast. Everyone was smiling, laughing, and dancing up a storm. The bride and groom looked gorgeous. Kayla picked the most flattering bridesmaid gown ever so we all looked pretty snappy too. And even when a bunch of wasps crashed their wedding day, and the couples' smiles couldn't be wiped from their faces. I think that has to be true love!
I'm wishing you two all the best, and I'm so grateful that I get see your love and marriage as it continues to grow and flourish over the years!
